DIZZA VOM FLOESSERDORF ”DIZA”
1986   1995

In the great sorrow after loosing Cilli so sudden, we realized that a Laekenois was a "must" for us.

After contacting Cilli's breeder we were offered a sister to Cilli. Diza and her brother Dingo, imported by Eleanor Dahlberg at kennel El-Jo-Mi's, came together with Lucie and Fred to Arlanda. The staff from the quarantine were there waiting by the customs and took the siblings away for 4 months of quarantine. Lucie cried for her babies. Lucie and Fred stayed a few days at our house and we had a round tour in Stockholm, fishing in the archipelago of Nynäshamn and a tour with guide around Åsbro (a rather quick trip).

After a long wait Diza finally came home to us. She was very happy and curious of everything and everyone. Diza entered some shows with nice placements, and also obedience, tracking, approved character test and the title Korad.

Later on we felt it was time for a litter, and we were very happy to see that Svein Mobaek in Norway, had imported a very nice male: Dutchman of the Orchid's Home. He would match our Diza. The puppies were born in 1987 and they were joyfully received. Diza was a fantastic and careful mother and after about 3-4 weeks she started to throw up for the puppies.
Sometime they got food from us and snacks from their mother. That's something we also got to see in a videotape, both Diza's parents (dad Fedor and mom Nicole) throwing up to all of the puppies.

Diza had two more litters. The second in 1989 sired by our own Hassan van Kriekebos and the third in 1991 sired by Zhale Rough Justice, owned by Carina Wallin.
Diza had several operations for tumours in her udders, which soon spread to other internal organs.

Diza was a great start of our Laekenois breeding. She was a female with all four paws steady on the ground, very stable and reliable. We are so greatful we got to know this great personality. We love you Dizen fisen gotte grisen!
